Regular cleaning can help keep a home safer, more comfortable and easier to manage. Make It Clean provides practical household and supported-accommodation cleaning in selected Brisbane areas, with preferences recorded and communication adapted to the participant’s arrangement.
More than seven years serving NDIS households · Insured · Police-checked cleaners
Every household is different. Some participants want help maintaining kitchens, bathrooms and floors each week. Others need a fortnightly service, communication through a family member or support coordinator, or a clearly defined routine in supported accommodation.
We have worked with NDIS participants and households for more than seven years. We begin by confirming the cleaning priorities, access arrangements, preferred communication and the people authorised to make changes to the service.
We provide cleaning—not personal care, nursing, behaviour support or clinical services. Keeping that boundary clear protects the participant, the cleaner and everyone coordinating the arrangement.
A regular service can be tailored from household tasks such as:
Inside ovens, detailed windows, heavy build-up, hoarding remediation, pest treatment, biohazard cleaning and other specialist work are not automatically part of a regular clean. We confirm what can be provided before accepting the booking.
Cleaning is personal because it happens inside someone’s home. We record practical preferences such as priority rooms, products to avoid, pet instructions, communication needs and areas that should not be entered.
We aim for team continuity where scheduling allows. If staffing changes, recorded instructions help a replacement cleaner understand the agreed service. A participant, nominee, family member, plan manager or support coordinator can be listed as the main contact where appropriate.
Participants retain choice and control. Priorities can be reviewed when circumstances change, provided the requested work remains within the agreed cleaning service.
Before starting, we ask how the participant’s plan is managed and who should receive quotes and invoices. For self-managed or plan-managed arrangements, we can discuss the required invoice details and approval process.
Funding arrangements and eligibility differ. Make It Clean does not decide whether a service is funded, and we do not claim that every cleaning task can be paid from an NDIS plan. The participant or their authorised representative should confirm the relevant budget and funding rules before service begins.
For supported accommodation, the scope should distinguish private rooms, shared kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and staff areas. We also confirm who can authorise changes, how cleaners enter the property and how service issues are reported.
Where several residents share a property, privacy and boundaries matter. Cleaners follow the authorised scope and do not move medication, confidential documents or personal support equipment unless a specific safe process has been agreed.
For common-area requirements outside an NDIS arrangement, see our shared-accommodation cleaning service.
Share the suburb, preferred frequency, priority rooms, contact arrangement and how the plan is managed.
We document the agreed cleaning tasks, visit length, hourly rate, invoice recipient and access instructions.
A home with heavy build-up may need more time initially before regular maintenance becomes predictable.
The participant or authorised contact can raise concerns and review priorities as needs change.
Provider and funding requirements depend on how a plan is managed. Contact us with the participant’s arrangement and we will state clearly whether we can provide and invoice the requested service. We will not imply registration or funding eligibility that does not apply.
Yes. We can communicate with an authorised support coordinator, plan manager, nominee or family contact while keeping the participant’s preferences central.
Yes, subject to local team availability. The schedule should reflect the home, the participant’s needs and the available cleaning budget.
No. Our role is cleaning. Personal care, medication, transport and other disability supports require appropriate providers and are outside our service.
Tell us the suburb, preferred schedule, cleaning priorities and the authorised contact. We will confirm coverage, service boundaries and the information needed for quoting and invoicing.
