CHILDCARE CLEANING EXPERIENCE

Childcare cleaning services in Brisbane

A childcare cleaning plan must reflect how rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, sleep spaces and outdoor transitions are used throughout the day. Make It Clean brings more than a year of hands-on experience cleaning a childcare centre in Nundah, with routines organised around the centre’s own procedures and operating hours.

Cleaning designed around the centre

Childcare environments have high-use surfaces, frequent transitions and routines that cannot be interrupted casually. Our founder personally cleaned a Nundah childcare centre for more than a year, providing direct experience of the consistency, access planning and attention these environments require. A site assessment should identify rooms, bathrooms, nappy-change areas, kitchens, sleep areas, entrances, staff spaces and any zones excluded from the cleaner’s scope.

The centre remains responsible for defining its regulatory, infection-control and product requirements. The cleaning provider must follow the agreed site procedure rather than making unsupported claims about universal compliance.

What a childcare cleaning service can cover

Subject to the centre’s approved procedure, a routine service may cover floors, bathrooms, accessible surfaces, staff areas, entries, bins and agreed touch points. Toys, food-contact surfaces, nappy-change areas, bodily-fluid incidents, laundry and specialist disinfection require explicit instructions and appropriate procedures.

Products, storage and access

The centre should approve product types, dilution requirements and storage rules before service begins. Cleaners also need clear information about keys, alarms, restricted areas, closing times and who can authorise changes.

We follow the centre’s approved product, dilution and storage instructions. We do not describe routine cleaning as clinical sterilisation or make compliance claims that are not supported by the agreed procedure.

Quality communication

Before service begins, we agree how missed tasks, supply shortages, damage and incidents should be reported. A nominated centre contact and a nominated cleaning-service contact reduce confusion.

Photos should never include children, identifying records, access codes or confidential centre information.

What we confirm before the first service

  • Rooms, amenities and outdoor-transition areas included in the scope
  • The centre’s cleaning, product and incident-reporting procedures
  • Approved products, dilution rules and secure storage
  • Access, screening and site-induction requirements
  • Waste, laundry, food-contact and bodily-fluid boundaries
  • Service frequency and after-hours access options

These details are documented before cleaning starts so the centre and cleaning team share the same expectations.
